Quasar Edge is the cabinet-grade controller that lives in your plant's substation. Plant-side, it speaks IEC 61850 GOOSE + MMS to inverters and BMS containers. Operator-side, it speaks IEC 60870-5-104 over IPsec VPN to the TSO SCADA. Store & Forward telemetry buffer means link drops do not lose data — when connectivity restores, every sample is delivered in order.

Active + Reactive Power Control

Imbalance Management
AI forecast (Solcast + 90-day learning) closes the gap between forecast and actual through battery dispatch. Target: 99.4% forecast adherence, zero imbalance penalty.
Hybrid Coordination
PV + BESS unified at the POI. Peak PV flows into the battery instead of being curtailed — typically 12-15 MWh/day saved on a 95 MW plant.
Asset Performance + Augmentation Planning
Cell-level SoH heatmap. AI degradation models warn 18 months before SLA breach so augmentation CAPEX is budgeted on time.
